Guess who welcomed us at Baluarte! Meet "Warning" (haha #insidejoke), Gov. Chavit Singson's tiger. We were so scared to go near him at first, but when came closer and he lied down, ay nako napaka-cute!! I'd love to take him home with me. Hahaha!
Baluarte's really huge and, for those who aren't familiar with it yet, it's a wildlife sanctuary. Animals all over the place, literally! You'll get surprised na lang that there's an ostrich beside you, o kaya horse. Ganun! Hahaha!
Ostriches! They're very friendly naman, you won't be scared of them. ;)
Hello there baby horse! Why are you alone? :(
Tried to be friends with him but he's shy... :( Oh well. Haha!
We proceeded to the Butterfly Garden located right beside the picnic area at Baluarte.
It was so difficult to take snapshots of the butterflies. They keep on flying!!! >.<
Someday, I'll have my own butterfly garden! :p
Haha! Sunbathing ang ganap ni chicken! Push!!
Tweet tweet!! In fairness sa grip niya, very very clingy! Di masakit but bumakat sa hands ko yung claws niya! Hahaha!
My friends and I also took the chance to ride a "tiburin". That's how they call their mini horses. It was one awesome experience!! We were able to go around and see the other animals on the far end of Baluarte.
Camel!! OH GOD, MY HEART!! I've always wanted to see a real camel! It's actually part of my bucket list and I'm so glad I was finally able to cross it out ♥
Say hi to Barbie! Yup, that's right. The camel's name is Barbie. Ansabe!! Hahaha!
I thought camels were quite but they're not! Hahaha! I don't know what Barbie was saying that time, but she was like grumbling "Brooom!! Jeruuuum!!" Maingay siya promise!
If ever you'll go to Ilocos, make sure to visit Baluarte. It's indeed more than just a zoo. ;)
