Ilocos Day 1.5 + Outfit Post

Hello guys! Finally back in Manila from a 3-day trip that I had with my college buddies at Ilocos. I was supposed to do real-time blogging in Ilocos but I didn't have the chance and I wanted to make the most out of my stay there. The experience was really amazing and unforgettable, and I can't wait to tell you stories from our escapade! But, wait up! Before we head on to that, quick outfitey muna!

On me: printed buttondown courtesy of Romwe | cream shorts with bow belt from SM Kids | footwear courtesy of Sueno de Espadrilles

This breezy buttondown from Romwe kept me sane from walking around Ilocos. Thank God for sheer clothes, else I wouldn't survive! Haha!

Another SM Kids item in my closet. Hihi :p

Fuss-free outfit for Day 01! When travelling, make sure that you packed with you comfortable clothes/items. Minimal accessories and no heels as much as possible so you can move around freely! :)

Now, trip kwentos, shall we? :) My friends and I left Manila last Friday, 9PM, and arrived Saturday at Ilocos Norte around 8AM. We left our bags at our lodge and started to roam all over the city afterwards.

First stop was Laoag Church. It's so huge and historic!

Beside Laoag Church is the centuries old Sinking Bell Tower of Laoag. It's one of the tallest and most massive in the country. Through time, the tower has sunk considerably and evenly, thus its reputation as the "Sinking Bell Tower".

Across Laoag Church and Sinking Bell Tower is this very clean and picturesque park. This is where I took my Day 01 outfit photos! :p

You'll see a gigantic grass clock before entering the Ilocos Norte Capitol.

Lakas maka-white house! :D

Another thing that I love about Ilocos is that their structures keep up with the heritage of the province. The veneer of SM Hypermarket, as well as other restaurants and buildings, appear like this, too! So cute!! :)

Museo Ilocos Norte

Gerry's Grill, Cheesecake Etc, Johnny Moon Cafe and a lot more restaurants just behind the museum :)

With Trisha and Jemcy aka my favorite girls in the world!! ♥

Obligatory group picture. Hahaha! This time, with Rachelle and Kim. I love my friends!

We rode a calesa back to our lodge. Got surprised with the affordable calesa ride fee. In Intramuros, I think we pay roughly about P50.00 each or more (depending on how far you'd go) but at Ilocos, P11.00 lang! Fuuun! ♥

Ending this post with a picture of Tupig, a local delicacy that we fell in love with! Haha! So yummy, we took home plastics of Tupig with us! :p

That's it for my Ilocos Day 1.5 post! Will be blogging about the next half right after this. Anyone here who loves Pagudpud?? ;) Stay tuned! xx
