Against The Wall

Finally finally finally publishing an outfit post today! Hello everyone! :) Sorry for the short hiatus. Been very sick for four days, then straight to school right after recovering. Meh, midterms week! I wouldn't force myself kung hindi. Haha! Anyway, I'm all good and back now! Thanks to everyone who continuously visits my blog despite the lack of updates and for the well-wishes. Oh, if I could only hug each of you. ♥

So back to the outfit! Here's what I wore to school yesterday. Didn't stay long there, though, because my blockmates and I had to attend an afternoon seminar at the National Museum. You probably know that my university's situated at Intramuros, right? But just recently, it came into my mind that even though I'm at this beautiful walled city almost everyday for four years, I still don't have any outfit shots in the vicinity. Hence I dragged my favorite girls (hello and thank you, Shamae and Jemcy) to quickly capture my OOTD before having lunch. :p

On me: orange blazer courtesy of ROMWE | Topshop inner wear (old) | jeans courtesy of Miss Sixty PhilippinesAnagon tusk necklace | shoes courtesy of HABI Footwear

I'm extremely in love with this structured blazer from Romwe! ♥ You can also see how its color added life to my supposedly boring school girl attire. I'm definitely keeping this, and I'll show you more ways to wear this blazer with other outfits in the coming days. :)

My blog sister, Ana, gave me two bags last Christmas and here's one of them! Thank you so much, big sis! :) I like carrying this bag with me because it's simple yet stylish and oversized - it can fit everything that I need all day. Kahit wedges kasya! Avail talaga!

Anyway, I'd love to share with you some of the well-preserved masterpieces inside the National Museum. Too bad we didn't have time to go around the other halls. Next time! :)

The very huge, famous and fascinating Spoliarium made by Juan Luna

Murals by Carlos "Botong" Francisco

Also got curious with the story behind this La Tragedia de Gobernador Bustamante painting by Felix Resurreccion Hidalgo.

The magnum opus of our national artists are so interesting and intriguing. They'll leave you hanging with a lot of questions ;)

That's it for today's post! No rest this Sunday as I'm off to thesis meeting in a few. Nevertheless, I'm wishing everyone a fun-filled week ahead! xx
