Candy Fair 2012

Can't believe I'm blogging about Candy Fair 2012 just now! Our finals week is fast-approaching, plus we're counting a few days na lang til the deadline of our feasibility study and thesis. Oh, talk about the stressful life of a graduating student! :p

Anyway, last September 22, I went to Megatent Events Venue along with my co-SM GTW blogger ambassadors for this year's Candy Fair. As early as 10AM, the venue was jam-packed and the line outside was really long with excited and eager Candy Girls. Let me tell you more about the event through these photos and captions.

We were welcomed by these directions. Can you guess where I immediately headed? Marriage booth (with Candy Cuties)? No, silly! Of course, I went straight to my beloved SM GTW's booth! Hahaha! :p

Aside from the lovely clothes of SM GTW, the reason why a lot of Candy Girls flocked in the booth was because of the presence of different Candy Cuties - ready to hug, kiss and take photos with everyone!

Even I didn't want to miss the opportunity! Give na guys! :p With me's Candy Cutie Ryan (who reminds me so much of Matty from Awkward. Anyone here agrees with me? Lol!)

I also had the chance to have a short meet and greet session with my readers! They're all so sweet and kind! ♥ Thank you, girls, for supporting Raid My Closet! It means a lot to me!

Redhead Freedom Wall ♥

We wanted to go around the venue but it wasn't possible because of the large crowd. We tried to, though, but we ended up staying at the backstage instead.

The top 13 Redhead Model Search finalists together with the SM GTW "It" Bloggers were getting prepped up for a fashion show in the afternoon. Spot Camille Co in this photo! I'm so glad she still remembers me! :)

With Patricia Prieto and my forever fashion inspiration, Kryz Uy. *_*

With Alyssa! So nice seeing you again, babe! :)

With the gorgeous Lissa Kahayon this time!

PBB Teen Edition's Kit Thompson. I'll share you a little secret but promise you won't tell? Kit's my crush! *_* So you could just imagine how kilig I was when he arrived at the backstage. Rovie can attest to that! Lol thanks for this photo, Rovie!

Countdown to Candy Fair's main show! I felt the crowd's excitement to see their favorite Candy Cuties walk the runway!

Everyone (yes, including me, hahahaha) went wild when the Candy Cuties finally came out!

The team behind our ultimate favorite magazine - Candy! ♥

The top 13 Redhead Model Search finalists walked the runway, too, followed by SM GTW's "It" Girls.

Thank you so much to my most-loved SM GTW team for giving us this wonderful chance! I had so much fun during Candy Fair 2012!

Were you there at the Candy Fair, too? Share your experiences with me! I'd love to know! xx

RAJO! for Parisian and Milanos

After the Jessica Sanchez for Bench event (which I'll be blogging about next), my blogger friends and I headed to SM Mall of Asia for the Rajo! for Milanos and Parisian launch. Last year, I was fortunate enough to attend the first ever launch of the Rajo x Parisian collaboration. I love Rajo Laurel and I'm a fan of Parisian shoes, so when I got invited to the exclusive send off of his second collection, I knew I couldn't miss it! This time, he also teamed up with another SM homegrown footwear brand for men - Milanos! :)

I've only got a few photos because I left early, but here's a quick preview of what happened during the event. Fashion enthusiasts gathered around function room 5 of the SMX Convention Center last September 25.

World-class designer Rajo Laurel collaborates with SM shoe brands Parisian and Milanos to bring 2 exclusive collections that derives inspiration from the Japanese culture.

Raymond Gutierrez hosted the event, looking so good with his oriental inspired ensemble.

Presenting Rajo Laurel's premier collection for Milanos and second for Parisian!

For the confident guy on the go, Rajo! for Milanos' collection showcases casual and dress shoes made of leather and suede with metallic accents and embroidery.

For the fun loving girl looking for the perfect pair of a night out with her friends, Rajo! for Parisian's line of heels and wedges would be the perfect way to go. For the laid back and casual fashionista, the collection also has metallic flats and suede shoes.

I'm torn between getting Samurai, Midori or Hanami! Planning to purchase over the weekend and I need your suggestions. *_*

Rajo! for Parisian and Milanos will be available in 20 chosen SM Department Stores starting September 29: SM Mall of Asia, SM North EDSA, SM Makati, SM Megamall, SM Cubao, SM San Lazaro, SM Manila, SM Fairview, SM Las Pinas, SM Bacoor, SM Dasmarinas, SM Lucena, SM Lipa, SM Baguio, SM Pampanga, SM Clark, SM Marilao, SM Cebu, SM Lanang, and SM Mandurriao.

Congratulations, SM Milanos, SM Parisian and Mr. Rajo Laurel for this successful collaboration! Thank you so much for having us! :)

Can I Be Your Fairy?

Hello guys! Squeezing in a quick blog post before heading out for school! I know I still have a lot of backlogs to finish but unfortunately, my schedule (including thesis, feasibility studies, blogger events) turned so crazy and I only have little time to go online. I'll try my best to work on them later when I get home, though! :) Can't wait to share my experiences at Candy Fair 2012, Jessica Sanchez x Bench event, Rajo for Parisian and Milanos event plus tons of outfit posts!

For the meantime, let me show you two of my favorite photos taken by my legendary friend, Charls Uytanlet.

If I'll be a fairy one day, I would love to look like this! I can already imagine myself granting wishes of good people and spreading magic and love to everyone. ♥

My Dad made this his phone's wallpaper (even in his other gadgets) and he won't stop showing it to his workmates. It's annoying but cute. I love you, Daddy! :p

Told you this will be quick! ;) Hope you'll enjoy these snapshots!
What are you up to lately, loveys? xx

Myrtle Sarrosa for Lolita

A good blogger friend of ours, known as Paul the PR Guy, has been keeping himself busy over the past month with the preparation of Lolita - a new fragrance line. Like Ana, I remember Paul sharing stories about getting Lolita's endorser, the photoshoot, and his plans for the big media launch. Hearing all those got me very excited!

PMP Communications and Beauty Elements Ventures Inc. (BEVi) finally unveiled Lolita and its endorser, PBB Teen's grand winner Myrtle Gail Sarrosa, last September 20 at 55 Events Place.

The venue was jam-packed with press people and special guests. The team behind this launch also prepared a buffet dinner for everyone. Sarap!! :)

Cupcakes overload! ♥

It was all pink and girly everywhere! I absolutely love the setup.

Along with 11 other bloggers, Bestie called me at the backstage and she told us that we'll do a little walk in the runway and join Myrtle in the opening/production number. Best in gulat and kaba 'cause we were so unprepared! See the second half of the mini fashion show in this video courtesy of OrangeMagTV!

Spot me and Tracy, hahahaha!

Photo from Yana dela Cruz (Thank you for this photo, dear!)

I personally think that Myrtle's the perfect endorser for Lolita. She's adorable, witty, and known for her many playful sides - cosplayer, SK president, actress, etc.

Q&A portion with Myrtle, host Janeena Chan and PMP Communication's CEO/Managing Director, Paul Chuapoco (na pwedeng-pwede rin pala mag-host, haha).

People went cray for Myrtle after the brief press conference.

With the night's doll, Myrtle Sarrosa. She's so sweet and humble! She even wished me luck at the backstage before the show. Congratulations, girl! ;)

Which Lolita are you? Myrtle's favorite is the Cospink scent, and so far, I'm loving it, too! xx
