Come, Hang Out at Oxygen

Oxygen will always be one of my favorite brands to shop for street style clothing. They’re unstoppable from releasing up-to-date items, and you can get those without having to worry about hurting your pockets.

Just recently, Oxygen released their Summer 2017 collection - beaming with cool and hip streetwear pieces made to perfectly complement the youth’s lifestyle. Your closet should be game for some summer-ready “hypebeast” stash!

The brand reminds us that the season is all about having pure, unadulterated fun, with pieces mostly in muted tones accentuated by graphic prints and bright candy pinks.

Oxygen has anything you need - whether you’re aiming for some skate park style, Sunday stroll, jamming session, roadtrip ready, or just for malling. Can’t wait to show you my picks! Definitely blogging about those soon. ;)

Aside from shopping, Oxygen also invites everyone to come hang out and celebrate the arrival of summer at their Artist’s Room. Select Oxygen stores will conduct an intimate music session series featuring some of today’s hippest local acts from February 17 to March 5, 2017. #OXGNComeHangOut

They unveiled the Come, Hang Out concert series at Oxygen Trinoma with Keiko Necesario and Joyce Pring last February 17, and with Manila Magic and No Rome at Oxygen Glorietta last February 18.

Friends from Visayas and Mindanao, mark your calendars! The party will go to Oxygen Lanang on February 25 with Anne Mendoza and Jad Montenegro. The final leg will happen on March 5 at Oxygen SM City Seaside Cebu with Kirby Yu and Jen Sarmiento.

Expect big things from Oxygen! See you at the stores!

The Power of NOW

Hello hello! I hope the month of hearts is going great for you, not only relationship-wise, but also with career, family, and well-being. :)

Now, for this outfit post, it’s either the weather’s getting too cold lately or I’ve been so hooked with Kdrama. Probably both! Aside from those reasons, I love this whole look because it screams comfort and style.

Speaking of comfort, this is important not only in fashion but also in real life. Two ironic but equally vital purposes: being comfortable and stepping out of your comfort zone. I’d talk about the latter and leave the first one for another post. :)

As you know, Deo, Kuya Monty and I recently jumped into the unknown - the world of entrepreneurship. With just fueled souls, love for food, passion to chase the ultimate dream, and a big heart, we took the risk and created Little Bistro. Deo and I are leaving our day jobs to focus on sustaining and growing this business (and our blogs). We’re bound to lose our stable salary and convenient workplace, but we studied and assessed our lives after this (before coming up with the big decision, just so you know). We’re bound to bigger and brighter things!

Did we ever feel worried and scared? A lot of times. Countless self-questioning and self-doubts. The road to building Little Bistro wasn’t simple. But that’s when we finally felt that it’s time to jump. To explain, let me share with you this quote that I’ve stumbled upon recently: Too many of us are not living our dreams because we are living our fears.

Let the “now” empower you. Don’t delay your goals just because you’re afraid or because you want to keep the safe and easy path. You can go on and on wishing for a better life, but nothing will happen if you don’t do anything about it. Take it from us. Don’t underestimate your strength. ;)

I know we still have a long way to go, and we’ll still face a lot of challenges. Yet we’re armed and ready for what’s ahead. We're doing this for the people we love, and we believe that's enough reason to keep going.

Publishing this on the 14th, so greeting you all a Happy Valentine’s Day! In case you’ve no plans yet, you can visit Little Bistro at Merkanto and we’d gladly cook for you! Everyone’s welcome! ♥

Penshoppe UP Town Center (Why You Should Visit)

If I were to list down some clothing brands that Filipinos have grown up to, I’d certainly include Penshoppe. I love how their collections evolved through time - from being the go-to place for basic casual wear, to now being one of the best stops to shop for stylish clothes. If you’ve been to any of their stores recently, you’d know! ;)

Just yesterday, February 9, they finally opened their flagship store at UP Town Center. So happy their biggest branch is situated in my turf! We graced their VIP event and got first dibs on their latest releases. Here’s why you should visit Penshoppe as soon as you can.

1. From February 10 to February 12, 2017, freebies, discounts and cool activities will overflow at Penshoppe UP Town Center, their flagship store. You can’t afford to miss this!

2. Their collections scream hypebeast and hypebae! For your dose of street style items, you won’t have to look any further. Penshoppe’s here to make you look on-point without hurting your wallets. :)

Scored this parka jacket! I’m 100% sure I’d overuse this.

Ana and I were eyeing on this camo windbreaker. So nice!

3. You’ll find the best-fitting denim tops, jackets and bottoms from their Denim Lab section.

4. They have an extensive selection of tees - pocket, patched, statement, plains… name it! All in pleasing colors!

5. Cool District part is where their accessories, shoes and bags are placed.

6. Quick trivia - did you know that my high school scent was Penshoppe’s FLIRT? I’m so happy they still have it even after years! Hahaha! You’d love their fragrance line, too!

7. To those who are into the whole Korean craze (myself included), there are so many K-fashion-inspired finds here!

8. International celebrities are wearing Penshoppe, too! If Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Sandara Park, Mario Maurer, and other stars proudly wear Penshoppe, wouldn’t you be pleased? :)

All these and more! Congratulations, Penshoppe! I’ll always love you! ♥

Dentiste: Best Toothpaste for Good Morning Kisses

This may be cheese overload, but I can say that the best moments of my life are those spent with Deo. I’m grateful to have a life partner who gives me more beautiful reasons to live. With him, I know that love is worth waking up to.

Micromoments are more meaningful when you finally find that one person whom you want to face the world with. You’ll find joy in the ordinary things like your daily cup of coffee, long walks, staying in during the weekends for some chill time, and good morning kisses. Now, as your aide for the last one, Dentiste Toothpaste is here!

Give sweet good morning kisses without hesitation with Dentiste! Did you know that they’re the first toothpaste in the world that couples use before bed and wake up with fresh breath the next day? Made with 14 natural extracts, Dentiste activates at night to get rid of odor-causing bacteria.

10 years in the Philippines and millions of tubes sold!

Even I witnessed the effect sans the morning kiss trial, but I really woke up with fresh breath after using Dentiste. I also became more confident in holding meetings for work, my blog and Little Bistro with the combination of Dentiste Toothpaste and Oral Rinse. I challenge you to try this product line, too!

Now’s the perfect chance to buy Dentiste! This Valentine’s, their 60G Toothpaste will be offered at Php143 (from Php175).

This offer and all their items are available in Watsons, SnR Membership Shopping, Mercury Drug, Robinsons Supermarkets, SM Supermarkets, Landmark, Metro Gaisano Supermarkets, and other major groceries nationwide.

Enjoy the month of hearts! May we all have a kissable and amazing February! xx

Tale As Old As Time

Is it just me, or January really went by that fast?! It was probably my busiest and most productive year-starter ever, and I wouldn’t want it any other way. ♥ I hope you were able to make the most out of the first month of 2017, too!

While Little Bistro’s spot is under construction, we’re doing online sales and deliveries within Metro Manila until mid-February. Just last Friday, we released our very own Sushi Platter, and early this week, we’ll fill your tummies with the much-requested Yakitori Rice Meals. We hope for your love and support! :)

Deo, Kuya Monty and I have been doing regular meetings and culinary training sessions for Little Bistro. My pillars’ dedication and hardwork inspire me to keep going. We’re really putting our whole heart and soul in chasing our dreams, and I hope you’d do the same to reach anything that you aspire, too. :)

Anyway, while our days seem packed, we try our best to get sanity breaks as well. Deo and Kuya Monty are into video games (Overwatch and Dark Souls respectively) - they just deny that they’re addicted! Hahaha! Meanwhile, I spend my free time over K-drama, movies, and Gordon Ramsay Dash (iOS game, haha).

And since I mentioned movies, last night, I re-watched my all-time childhood favorite, the original Beauty and the Beast film. The trailers for the remake rekindled my love for this movie and brought back so many memories. I even had Beauty and the Beast toys (complete cast, btw) when I was younger. I used to sing "Bonjour" while playing with my Belle, and forced my Mom to hold the teapot and act like Mrs. Potts. AHHHHH ♥

So beautiful, I cried so much at 2AM.

This post got a bit more sabaw than usual, so thank you for sticking around! :p
