Greater Heights

Finally blogging about this shoot! A few weekends back, Deo and I went to Makati to catch up with our good friend, Christian. Before stuffing ourselves with Japanese food at Little Tokyo, we took a couple of shots on a dope office rooftop, overlooking the busy streets of Makati and its neighbouring towers. It was actually raining a bit hard that time but we’re unstoppable! :p

One of my favorite shoots yet! ♡

On me: Rip N Dip shirt (gift from Deo) | moto jacket from Forever 21 | Deo’s cap | high waist shorts from Mango | Adidas Stan Smiths (triple white)

Yup. Ensemble’s a bit unusual for the dressy and minimalist Arnie! Life with Deo entails having to embrace street style and getting to know killer streetwear brands like Rip N Dip. I actually got scared that I might not be able to pull it off, but I when I saw my OOTD, I really liked the whole look!

See? You just need to try. :)

With this, one of my realizations is that you should never lock yourself inside your comfort zone. It wouldn’t hurt to try out new things, explore different places, get soaked under the rain, shift styles, conquer your fears, and so much more. Sure, you’re okay with where you are right now, but wouldn’t it be better if you expose yourself to a greater extent? You have the key. There’s more to life than your closed circle.

On a totally unrelated note, to be honest - it took me around 2 hours to finish this blog post because I mentioned "Japanese food" and "Little Tokyo" on the first part. Since then, I got distracted by my cravings and I found myself scrolling through the menu of Izakaya Kikufuji. Hahahaha! What even!
