Comic Royalties for Beyond the Box

While walking around the Asia Pop Comicon, Deo and I stumbled upon the booth of Beyond the Box and saw that they offered a one-of-a-kind book compilation - featuring the works of Harvey Tolibao, Manix Abrera, and Mervin Malonzo. What struck me the most is that the artworks were all made solely using an iPad Pro. You better get a copy of that book to see how these three men did their magic!

I’m glad I finally have mine! The book only costs Php350.00 at all Beyond the Box stores nationwide.

The comic artists have been challenged to write and illustrate under the theme “beyond”, since Beyond the Box is a brand that encourages pushing limits and exploring boundaries. I’ve a lot of favorites from the compilation, but this particular page below totally caught my attention. Simple yet profound!

Through this collaboration, Beyond the Box hopes to empower Filipinos to do just that - to go beyond their limitations by exploring the possibilities of their creativity using power of modern technology. Achievement unlocked for the three masterminds! :)
