If you’re going through tough times, too, take a step back so you can see the full picture. Discernment won’t come if you’re inside the situation. If it gets too much, release all your fears and worries to Him. Breathe and let go of what you can’t change.
With all the mishaps, my life guardians taught me how to be like a rubber band. No matter what happens, you have to bounce back. It can’t be done overnight but you have to embrance resilience. To quote John Maxwell, “Life can stretch you to your breaking point, but - like a rubber band - always find a way to get back to your original shape.”
Although you have to be strong for yourself, another step to help you get back up is to spend time with your constants. Be with people who love you without judgments, and you’ll find that nowhere else but home. Nothing beats the comfort and security that you get from your family. Either through blood or built by trust, love and appreciate those who never gave up on you. These people know who they are and I’ll be forever grateful for them.

Struggling everyday? You’ll be fine. We don’t know how soon, but it will all pass. You have no choice but to move forward. Weigh your blessings rather than problems, and stay close to anything that makes you glad you’re alive. I held onto that, and I guess that’s one of the reasons why I’m still here. :) Mahirap, pero kakayanin mo ‘yan.
