Good Vibes List

Hello guys! How's your week so far? Hope everything's going great for you! :) Squeezing in a quick blog post before heading to my next meeting today. Just thought of sharing a short list of what I do to keep the good vibes going.

1. Start with a prayer and smile.

You're off to conquer another day so start with a prayer - to thank Him for the gift of life, and to seek for guidance for the day ahead. And then smile, because maganda ka and keri mo na everything!

2. Find something to look forward to.

Even in ordinary days, you can find something to look forward to. It can be as simple as getting your favorite ice cream fix or the smell of your savory lunch.

3. Enjoy the little things.

In relation to #2, you can find joy in the little things. If you're having a really bad day, look in the mirror and check your eye brows. If they're still on point, you're still in the right track! Otherwise, treat yourself after a long tiring day. You deserve a good coffee or sumptuous dinner!

4. Line up your feel-good playlist.

I'm no hippie and my playlist is filled with mainstream songs. But listening to those make me feel better. Sharing some of my current favorites:

• Can't Feel My Face - The Weeknd
• The Way - Ariana Grande, Mac Miller
• 101 - Walla
• Bo$$ - Fifth Harmony
• Cheerleader - Omi
• Lean On - Major Lazer, MO & DJ Snake
• Love Never Felt So Good - Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake
• Lovin' So Hard - Becky G
• Talking Body - Tove Lo
• Want To Want Me - Jason Derulo

20 Years of Style with Plains and Prints

Plains & Prints is one of my go-to brands if I need quick fashion fixes. Their pieces are beautiful alone so you won't need to worry about which accessories or shoes to pair. This renowned brand is celebrating their 20th anniversary, and I'm more than grateful to grace this precious moment! :)

Last Thursday, July 23, Plains & Prints unveiled their Anniversary Series in collaboration with two of the best names in Photography, Mr. Mark Nicdao and Mr. Wigs Tysmans. Apart from reminiscing the brand's 20 years of milestones, they're also sharing great times in the life of Mark and Wig, immortalized in photographs and printed in this Limited Edition Photo-Fashion Collection - A fusion of Photography and Fashion translated into a different level of elegance and style.

Fashion photographer Mark Nicdao has snapped photos of the who's-who in the dazzling sartorial world. Nicdao has worked with not only local celebrities and models, but also with international stars such as Paris Hilton and Adam Levine. He was also a nominee in the 2011 Asian Top Fashion Photographer Awards. He credits all this to his ability to tell stories with a single photograph.

"Seeing those clothes, everything came back to me, those happy moments when I was shooting those pictures. It's a proud moment. Not a lot of people go to India and I want to share it with everyone. It's gonna be immortalized in the clothes," Mark says.

We can't think of anyone else sporting the latest collection than the lovable Anne Curtis! ❤❤❤

Stunned yet? Everything's so pretty! ❤ So hard to decide which to get!

Fans of revered portrait photographer Wigs Tysmans will be pleased to know that some of the snapshots closest to his heart are now immortalized on Plains & Prints' anniversary collection.

"These are photos I took of my children when my family still lived in Baguio. I wanted to capture the blue skies and I could only do that early in the morning. So I wake them up, we drive around, and I just let them run free while I take photos of them," recalls Wig.

For Anne, having to wear beautiful pieces that are locally made and being able to share that with all her followers through her Instagram OOTDs is one of the most fulfilling experiences she has working with Plains & Prints.

"It has helped me evolve in the way I dress, from someone who just wants to have fun to being more lady-like. I'm still able to mix and match to make it my style. I also love its sophisticated designs, something I want to be identified with," Anne shares.

Cheers to Plains & Prints' 20 Years of Style! The Photo-Fashion Collection limited edition will be out in all Plains & Prints boutiques in July and August.

Ladies in Levi's

In its continuous bid to provide the perfect denim pants for people of all ages, Levi’s Philippines is launching its newest women’s denim collection on July 31 at the Valkyrie Nightclub. In line with the event, the global brand is looking for ladies who represent the best of Asian women.

The search, titled “Cast Me Levi’s,” aims to find talented and accomplished women who have been loyal Levi’s lovers through the years.

If you aspire to be a Lady in Levi’s, all you have to do is share your most memorable story about your best-loved pair of Levi’s jeans and get a chance to walk the runway wearing the brand’s newest collection.

With the brand’s commitment to continuous innovation while boasting the quality it has always been known for, Levi’s created a perfectly tailored and trendy new collection that keeps up with the lifestyles of modern women.

“Through the years, Levi’s has mastered the art of denim wear and every Levi’s lover out there knows that. This year, we want everyone to know, especially all ladies out there, that we have the perfect jeans no matter who you are,” said Kaths Laudit, Levi’s Philippines Marketing Head.

To join, follow @levis_ph on Instagram and like Levi’sPH on Facebook. Then share your most memorable story with your favorite pair of Levi’s jean and upload it on Instagram and tag @levis_ph with the hashtags #LeviInLevisPH and #LadiesInLevis.

“We want to know all about their journey with Levi’s, especially those times when they accomplished great things with it,” Laudit explained.

The top six ladies will be picked and styled by the fashion industry’s best.

“They will represent modern women who are bold, outgoing, and empowered. Wearing Levi’s affords them supreme comfort and enormous confidence, making them stand out,” Laudit affirmed.

These new jeans are especially made for Asian women, designed and crafted with slimmer thigh, flattering leg and contoured seat for a little lift.

From the brand that invented the original Blue Jean, the Levi’s new collection is modern, feminine and sexy. Special attention was put in to each and every pair of jeans to flatter her body and shape. Different approaches are taken depending on the fit and overall design of the garment.

With the collection’s latest fit and fabric technology, the new denim pants for women will serve multiple body types perfectly.

To make the launch event on July 31 more spectacular, Asian superstar and F4 alum, Vanness Wu, will give a hot performance even as Levi’s newest jeans for modern women are expected to sizzle on the runway.

The deadline of entries for “Cast Me Levi’s” is on July 24. For more details, visit any Original Levi’s Store or check out its Facebook page.

The Owl Has Landed

Raise your hands if this is the first time you saw me in a polo shirt! Okay okay I think I'm seeing a lot of high fives there! Yup, after the longest time, I'm finally in this ensemble. I rarely wear polo shirts because I honestly think they don't fit me well. But I had the guts to try one again, and there's no other brand to start with than Memo. #TheOwlHasLanded

On me: polo shirt courtesy of Memo | white pants from Uniqlo | bag courtesy of SM Parisian | pumps from The Ramp

Currently known for its clean lines and classic styles, Memo launched a new and young product line of polos to suit the evolving needs of its stylish clientele. Indeed, the Owl has landed. The Memo Owl Polo is a new line of tops designed to be both versatile and fashionable.

Wore this to one long day at work (overpacked with several meetings), then to the mall for some light dinner with my best friend. I love how flexible and effortlessly stylish this garb is from Memo! I can imagine wearing this with denim shorts + cap + sneakers and still looking nice on a weekend. Or with a jumper/dungaree for some preppy vibes! Definitely trying out those looks in the next few weeks! :)

Baes at BenCab Museum

Oh, there's nothing I wouldn't do just to be back at BenCab Museum. I wish we had more hours to spare in this beautiful place, but Yhe and I had to hurry and catch our ride back to Manila. Nevertheless, I had such an amazing time at BenCab! :)

Wanted to extend time just staring at all these beautiful works of art! I rarely have the chance to visit museums, but when I do, I'm often left in awe. Wish I had the same talent!

#BFFGoals to the whole bonggang level at BenCab! Each corner was Instagram-worthy!

Yhe and I are both wearing rompers from Perfect Fit Shop

If you're planning to visit BenCab Museum, make sure to prepare your P100.00 entrance fee! Sobrang sulit! :)

One with nature ❤

Cafe Sabel! Another reason why I badly wanna go back is to try out Cafe Sabel's coffee and other treats. Someone please bring me there!!! :(

More #BFFGoals realnezz! Can't imagine going through this whole Baguio trip without Yhe. Thanks for the fun weekend, and cheers to more, bae!
