About Time

Squeezing in an outfit post before dozing off... again! :p I love long weekends and holidays because I get to extend my precious time with my bed, catch up on books and movies, be on my pajamas the entire day and just call 8-MCDO whenever I'm hungry. I feel like I gained so much weight this 3-day break! Ugh. While most people are taking advantage of the free days by going to the beach or anywhere far, I'm actually having the time of my life inside my room. Hahahaha! But seriously, I needed this break. Almost having flu for the nth time this year. My system's been cranky this 2014. #whatswrongwithme #helloBerocca

One huge anyway, perhaps you've seen About Time already. I watched it again last Saturday and got into the lines once more. Even though time traveling's not really possible, there are parts from the movie that you can apply on a daily basis. As mentioned by Tim, "all we can do is do our best to relish this remarkable ride." ;)

From the movie, Tim's dad has a two-part plan slash a secret formula for happiness. They're lucky because they can travel back in time there, so part one was living an ordinary life, living it day by day, like anyone else. If all else fails comes part two...

"He told me to live every day again almost exactly the same. The first time with all the tensions and worries that stop us noticing how sweet the world can be, but the second time noticing."

Personally, I think it's a brilliant formula. Due to the stress and pressures we deal with everyday, we tend to forget and notice all the beautiful things around us. I'm guilty of this especially on days when there's overflowing workload, or the hassle traffic even on my shortcut or secret streets. But something inside me screams and reminds me of the mantra I try to exercise - appreciation. You know what I'm talking about, and maybe you should try it, too! ;)

Oh and by the way, I wore this ensemble to the Instax DIY Day at Centris and the Saturdate I had with my blog sisters Ana, Tracy and Christine two weeks back! :)
