Rarely Sunny

I feel like my Fridays have always been random but fun! Took advantage of the sunny weather while it's present, so we went to a place which (for me) has one of the best sceneries.

Who wouldn't agree? :) The photos you're about to see were taken at a golf course located at Capitol Green Street.

It was incredibly windy that day! I love that it didn't rain last Friday! (Yes. Backlog post much? Better late than never!)

On me: top from Bangkok | The Landmark tights with snake skin print | CMG shoes

Whatcha lookin' at?? :p

Why was I doing this expression? Eh? Haha!

Forever 21 overload! My necklace and pearl bracelets were bought there! Pretty finds!

I love that the grass looks so healthy and clean! Keribels lang humiga!

Yay to this shot!

Here's a more detailed view of my tights. Snake skin and animal prints!

How I wish this place was mine!!

Have a great Sunday, sweethearts! xx

Quick Interview

This Saturday was supposedly allotted for a shoot with my good buds Henry and Kevin, but due to the totally crazy weather (it rained hard this morning), and a scheduled meeting with the council and college orgs, our shoot was cancelled. *sighs*

Anyway, I've committed to an interview with some UST students today and I've been looking forward to it because they'll be asking me shopping and fashion related questions. I rushed to TriNoma after the meeting at school to meet them.

I obviously set the cam on timer mode because no one was considerate enough to take our pictures! Lol. :p

The interview was for their preliminary examinations and I'm really glad that I was able to help them. Plus, I haven't seen my school mate, Eunisse, for like years already so this was a good chance to see her again!

They were really sweet and patient enough to wait for me. I really had to attend some errands before this! Again, sorry girls, for being late!

On me: Thrifted black sheer top | animal print belt from The Ramp | shorts from Tomato

And please forgive me for these photo fails! One kind cleaner volunteered to take our pictures and I guess his hands were shaking at that time. But anyway, no worries!

I failed to do an outfit post today because I felt so tired and dizzy. Guess who's stressed!
Hope you're all having fun this weekend! xx

Featured On: My Style - Style Bible PH

I was browsing over StyleBible.ph yesterday and registered when I found out that members can upload their photos in a section called My Style and get featured in Preview Magazine Online. The people behind Style Bible will filter the uploaded photos of the members and they have the authority to approve them or not. I tried my luck and yes, I got 3 slots for the How You Wear It category!

Sorry for the lame screen shot. My photos are in the second row of How You Wear It yesterday.

My first attempt to upload in My Style! I know this look is familiar to you! Green and Yellow.

My second try! So glad that the team approved it. Thank you to those who viewed this look, too!! It was one of the most viewed yesterday.

And lastly, this Smooth and Breezy look in one of my blog posts. Thanks again to Style Bible for approving this! :)

Try your luck, too! You might as well be chosen for "Look Of The Day". Register HERE.

P.S.

If you're a fashion blogger, it's a yay to get featured in various prints or sites to have your blogs and styles promoted. This chance made me really happy so I definitely had to do this post. Y'all know that I just started with this career a few weeks ago, and this is but a positive start.

Enjoy browsing!

Blue Coated

Another busy week is about to start and we're counting days 'til our midterm examinations. Handouts, notes, research works and case studies have been haunting me and I can't think of anything pretty to wear so forgive me if I look plain in the photos you're about to see. Plus this gloomy and "bed" weather is also taking over my mood.

The "matipid" smile.

It's only in this photo that my ring from The Ramp, Crossings is visible. I'm also wearing a twisted bracelet with a heart locket given by my Mom. I don't know why I forgot to take shots of my accessories for this outfit post. Prolly because I have too much in mind! Information overload!

Holding the heels of my Glitterati shoes that I was able to buy from the previous Super Sale Bazaar! It's so comfortable to wear - I can even run with these!

Closer view of my studded shoes! I love how it can suit almost all my clothes! I don't want to overuse these, though. :p

On me: Hong Kong brand light blue coat | animal print tank top from Bazaar | Mango white shorts

Have a great week despite being engaged with coffee and reviewers!! xx

Simone's Closet: 32nd Collection

We're indeed experiencing a bipolar weather (now it's raining and in the next few minutes, there goes the sun) so it's quite tough for us to choose the right clothes for the day. Good thing, my newly found blogger friend, Denise Lunod, is here to offer us clothes and accessories that are all posh and chic through her online shop - Simone's Closet!

Like what Denise said, "I know bonggacious ang shoot naten haha! :)"

Watch out for it! xx

Garnier Light Brightening Eye Roll-On

I've been receiving a lot of questions regarding the products that I use for my face and skin, may it be facial cleanser, moisturizer, sun block or make-up products. So for now, let me start off by sharing to you my anti-bags regimen.

Being a college student would entail longer hours that you're awake - doing all the research work, studying for the exams and preparing for the thesis (plus defense). So this means that we are more prone to have eye bags, dark under-eye circles and puffiness. Good thing Garnier offered us an affordable product that can aid to this dilemma.

I love that the package looks so neat and informative (even the back and side parts have various descriptions about the product). The only con is that it doesn't have instructions so I had to search online on how to use this.

This is how the eye roll-on looks like. It's small and perfectly fits my palm, meaning you can bring it anywhere for it's convenient and great for traveling.

There's also a cooling effect whenever you apply this on your eyes which would make you feel so relaxed and relieved from tiredness. And FYI, it contains caffeine that is known for its stimulating features on micro-circulation.

This eye roll-on is fragrance-free, dermatologically tested and ophtalmologically tested. You really have nothing to worry about, except if you're allergic to caffeine.

Let me share to you the guidelines on how to use this. Credits to Traclyn of Malaysia!

Step One: Using circular motions, apply roll-on beginning from the inner corner of the eye area. Continue over upper eyelid in one stroke.

Step Two: Repeat step one in reverse - Stroke over upper eyelid and circular motions for under eye area. Finish at inner corner.

For those who have been using this, you know how pretty addicting it is to roll this around your eyes!!

Step Three: Using ring finger (or which ever finger you're comfortable with), gently tap around eye area, ending at the under eye's inner corner.

As simple as that!

You can avail of the Garnier Light Brightening Eye Roll-On at Watson's, Mercury Drugstores or any beauty stores for only Php 199.00! Told you, it's really affordable.

I'm having a superb experience using this! Let me know if you guys like it, too! Have a good night and don't stress yourselves too much from school works! xx

Green and Yellow

First, I'm really sorry for the lame title. Can't seem to think of anything more catchy! Lol. Anyway, I've been loving the loud colors of my outfit post today!

I finally got the chance to wear one of the pieces I got from the Super Sale Bazaar - my skirt!

In the next few photos, you'll see how you can wear this Tonic bag in two ways.

One, you can wear it as a sling bag.

Or two, as a hand bag.

On me: Zara green halter top | neon yellow skirt from Moonshine | yellow wedges from The Landmark | bag from Tonic

Say hello to my bangles from Tomato and this very cute and unique necklace given to me by Mrs. Josellete Uy. I really wonder where she got this.

And on another note, I just finished answering the interview questions by a fashion blogger in the States. I can't wait to see the feature! Watch out for it, loveys!! xx

Love Japan: Fundraising Bazaar

The Rockwell community is about to conduct a fundraising bazaar and auction this July 23 and 24! Proceeds will go to our Japanese friends to help them and their country for rehabilitation from the devastating earthquake that happened this year.

Let's help Japan to rebuild through the following activities to be offered by the Rockwell Community (courtesy of http://www.eventlovershideout.com/):
  • Sell and Donate. If your closet or home is overflowing with furniture, appliances, gadgets, toys and clothes that you don’t need, you can sell them to help Japan!  Food booths are also available.  For those who don’t have enough items for a booth, donate an item or two through the Rockwell Club and Rockwell will sell that for you and consider it your donation!
  • Shop, Dine and Enjoy.  The shopping possibilities are endless in this special weekend souk, composed of unique bazaar items from Rockwell tenants and collections from select brands from Power Plant Mall selling at discounted prices! There’s fun for everyone as Rockwell adds to the festivities with Japanese-themed activities like a CosPlay Competition and Anime Festival on July 23 and a Jamming for Japan mini concert on July 24.
  • Bid. Rockwell’s friends from society, fashion, film and television will be donating items for auction. Join the bid and buy pre-loved luxury goods at unbelievable prices. Items are up for grabs at the silent bidding on July 23-24 (until 3pm) and during the live auction on July 24 on Sunday, 6:30pm. Some of the items up for auction are paintings from celebrities and signed boxing gloves from Manny Pacquiao!
Hopefully I'll be able to shop and help here this weekend despite of my scheduled meetings and commitments. Don't miss this guys! Love Japan!

Smooth and Breezy

I felt extra sweet this day so I decided to wear something that would match my current mood.

Hope the weather in the Philippines is like this most of the time. Breezy!

On me: white dress worn as skirt from Mango | pink cropped top from bazaar | Forever 21 belt

In a closer view, it's pretty obvious that what I'm wearing under my cropped top is a dress. I tried to match it with a belt so it would seem like a skirt from afar. And it actually worked! Wonders of creativity in fashion!

Chat Chat bag | Parisian shoes

It was really sunny but I don't mind! Still trying to maintain that sweetness despite the heat!

Roll call on my accessories! I decided to wear 3 pearl bracelets from Forever 21. And allow me to thank Kircs Urfashionspot for sending me these red fringe earrings! I didn't have a hard time matching it with my clothes. Check out their Facebook page for their collections! Indulge on their accessories without burning your cash - all affordable!
